Draped bust of Yazdgird I to right, wearing an elaborate mural crown with a frontal crescent; to left and right, ‘mzdysn bgy l’mštly – yzdklty MLKAn MLKA’ = ‘mazdēsn bay rāmšahr Yazdgird šāhān šāh’ (‘The Mazda-worshipping Lord with a peaceful realm, Yazdgird, King of Kings’ in deteriorated Pahlavi). Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; above altar, crescents and pellets; to left, mint monogram; on the altar shaft, ‘lʾst’ = ‘rāst’ (‘true’ in deteriorated Pahlavi).
